Active containers
Powered and protected
Active systems use a powered plant to maintain a variety of required temperature ranges. They are available in several payload sizes ranging from one to five EU pallets, the larger of which is represented by our fleet of state-of-the-art refrigerated vehicles. They are a good option when reliable infrastructure is guaranteed over the route.
Passive containers
Increasing efficiency
Passive packaging solutions provide extended temperature stability against a variety of environmental conditions. Passive solutions leverage various insulators—expanded polystyrene (EPS), expanded polyurethane (PUR) and vacuum-insulated panels (VIPs); and a variety of coolants—water/gel packs, dry ice, or phase change materials (PCMs).
Dry shippers
For low frozen ranges
Cryogenic shipments use a ‘dry shipper’—a strongly engineered cylindrical metal container enclosed in a rigid outer case. With your samples protected in a safe compartment, the container is filled with nitrogen vapor that maintains internal temperatures between -150° and -180°C for extended periods, and is suitable for air transport routes.
